Same thing happened to me a couple of Fridays ago. Idiot bombing along on a road bike decided he *needed* to pass that rollerblader despite the fact that I was right there in the oncoming lane. No blind corner excuse, either, it's flat and straight. I was just glad I have knobbies on because I had to hit the grass. I was also VERY glad it wasn't 200 m further up the trail where there's a drop-off to the river on my side of the trial....
Count me in on the stroller-hating, too. I can't figure out why a 20-pound child requires a stroller the size of a Honda Civic. I spent my childhood in a Snugli on Dad's back, a child-carrier on the back of Mom's bike, or even on my own feet, and I survived somehow!
