Wow. The specialized hardrock does look much better for a hundred dollars more. I would definitely save up some money, and invest it that bike. I plan to ride every weekend around 1-3 hour trails to Seal Beach with friends and family here at California. So closer to XC type bikes. I've also went to their official website at
www.specialized.com and under the Hardrock models, there were various models that were around the $300 range, the sport and the XC. (And there is the Hardrock Comp pricing at around $500 =/) If you guys had past experiences or any suggestions, it would be great... =) And if I wer to buy the actual bike at a LBS, what can I check and ask them to make sure the bike fits me, and is assembled correctly. (I am saying this because walmart bikes only comes in a general size, and most of them are poorly assembled.) And lastly, I want to thank both of you guys, for such an awesome advice, when I get the bike, I can't wait to share my experiences with you guys. Thanks a bunch!
