clickety flickety? Well i have no idea what your bikes problem is, but your description probably contains the most onomatopoeia i've seen in awhile.

in reference to having a local lbs do it for you? it varies by location, but i'd imagine that so long as you supply all the needed parts, it shouldn't run you too much. One of the techs at mine (jax in fullerton) says he can do that upgrade in less than fifteen minutes, provided everything is ready to go...he may have been exaggerating though. Anyways, average upgrade fee's are usually less than 50 bucks there. So if you don't wanna risk doing it wrong, it's not TOO much to have it done right.
