Ok, I think I understand about zooming into location now -- To the left of the map, you'll see a 'QuickStart' area -- enter in an address there. ie, '92109', 'Italy', 'Paris, France', '555 Main St, NY, NY', etc.

Also, you can find local routes two ways:

1) Click on the Search link (top nav) and do a search based on location and keyword

2) Navigate to a location (using QuickStart) then click on 'Find' -> 'Show Public Routes on Map' so you can visually see all routes in a specific area according to criteria (distance, etc.)

Here's a last tip for all you all -- if you are using a smaller resolution and want to take advantage of full screen to plot your rides, click on the 'Full Screen' button!
