Oh, Kings Cross is unique alright, but for none of those reasons. I think

Of course, once every year, they also have the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. Let's just say the participants in that generally wear a lot less than in Rainman's picture. It might be interesting for the sake of novelty, but it's probably not the place one would take one's grandmother.
