Tuesday is a really big day for one of our delivery men.

"Hey, Mark, Fat Tuesday, eh?"

(I had no ID it was really Mardi Gras!)

Wish I was there! Blue skies, warm temps, green trees.
I really would like to see Mardi Gras one these days. Maybe when I retire...

For some reason, when I think of Mardi Gras, something completely different comes to mind.

Am I to assume from this that you've never been to Kings Cross? Probably a sensible move.

Sounds like the place to be...
Oh, Kings Cross is unique alright, but for none of those reasons. I think The Police once did a song called "Roxanne".

Of course, once every year, they also have the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. Let's just say the participants in that generally wear a lot less than in Rainman's picture. It might be interesting for the sake of novelty, but it's probably not the place one would take one's grandmother.

Haha, me too! I was surprised at how everyone wanted to take part in this gay pride event. But I understood from the picture that this was something else – a gay parade would have a queen, not a king.
