it is somewhat comparable to the Specialized Enduro (i didn't actually test-ride the new Enduro, but have ridden some of the old ones, like Specialized as i ride a '02 FSR XC and had been thinking of the Enduro before i ran across the Slayer), with following differences:
1) RM frame is stronger and more robust (was designed as a Freeride bike back when Freeride still meant riding uphill too "all-mountain")

anyhow, my Slayer has 125mm front/rear (Fox Float RL rear), with Shimano Deore discs and LX/XT and with semi-agrresive tires weighs just under 30lbs...

the geometry is All-Mountain and it climbs as well as it descends...

although the Enduro is also good. i also spec compared the RM to the Stinky Dawg which is a little more robust but also weighs more (i think in the 32-34 lb range if i remeber right)
