No one's mentioned Windsurfing yet.

I love that! Even went to Hawaii and got to ride some excellent waves! Must be the similarity of trying to catch some air. I must admit, falling in the water is much less dangerous than falling on dirt.

Other similarities, Big Predators out there, but you rarely ever encounter (Sharks/Bears). Lots of specific gear for the different type of riding/sailing. O.k. I'm an equipment junky. What else, spending time with friends or solo depending on your mood. Being outside! No matter how good I get, there will always be room for improvement!

I don't sail nearly as much anymore(if any), I had to give up one of my expensive hobbies/sports and I couldn't afford a new board and a new bike!

But when the breeze is a blowin, my mind starts a wandering!
