Pretty new to commuting, and I must say I love it. I have been commuting by bike for about 2-3 months, I think it's about 8-9 miles each way (haven't figured it out yet). Well here's the bike, it's a 1965 Schwinn Varsity that I picked up for free. The only thing I have done is new tires, tubes, brake pads, brake cables, seat, and bar tape. It did come with fenders, but I took them off (only rains here like 2 days a year Shifts great and pretty comfortable. Happy commuting.
