you describe the newer version, but your pic is of the older version. i don't recommend the older version, with the plastic S glued on both sides, my shorts actually got chaffed from it. the newer one, with the embroidered S, is much better and doesn't cause my shorts to get chaffed like the older one did. i guess that's why all of their newer saddle bags have the embroidered S logos now..
