Welcome! Good to see another Tennessee member. I check Craigslist all the time, and will go ahead and let you in on something. There is a guy in Memphis who apparently finds old lower end bikes, refurbishes them, and sells them for rather expensive amounts. In his defense, they do look really nice. But they almost always seem quite overpriced. Nothing against the guy of course, he's just trying to get back what he's put into them.
