Just thought I'd vent here about a chain drop a few days ago. I was well aware of my slack chain tension but I thought I'd wait till I got home to move the wheel back. So the hole time, I'm making sure to keep tension on the chain by pedaling or resisting smoothly because DC roads suck. So I'm bombing this big, bumpy hill, pedaling to keep the tension, and I see the light at the bottom turn red...****. I'm nowhere near close enough to blow the light without dying, so I start to backpedal. The second I start, I hear CLINK CLUNK. Chain dropped... No super skid though. I just Ted Shredded to stop(which works really well actually). So I go to just crank the chain back and find that my chainring has bent teeth. So I got to walk home that night. But at least it stopped raining earlier...
