It really depends on whats important to you. I bought my kona because the frame is nice and I can upgrade it as I get more advanced and the frame won't need to be replaced until I go FS. If you wanna upgrade later and not be limited by the frame I say go with the kona but if you wanna buy a bike that has better parts and not upgrade anything at all then I'd assume the gf is the better out fo the box bike. I also like the kona because no oen else has one. Just my 2 cents. It's your money. Get the one you want.
