Perhaps aggressive bad manners is thought a virtue in some places, trailer parks and the like; in my book, it is still a sign of ignorance, an uncivil upbringing and is thoroughly to be depricated.
If a newcomer arrives and asks a question that has been dealt with before, perhaps it would be better to point him towards the existing answers, rather than to explode into ranting unpleasantness. This isn't a Wild West mining camp after all, is it?
