its kind of sad, really. i was never a HUGE discovery fan... never bought a jersey... always looked a bit suspect at Lance... whatever.
but Discovery was just one of those teams that would ALWAYS be there. the sun would rise, the seasons would change, and Discovery would be fielding a team next year.
and now? the're gone.
its like reading one morning that Ford Motor Company closed its doors.
ten years from now, that Disco jersey will illicit the same response as wearing a System U jersey today.
