Frame ID : Cinelli/Windsor/Other?
On holiday recently I wandered into the back of a bike shop an ended up purchasing a old frame hanging in the rafters for quite the deal. The owner claimed it was an old Cinelli he had always been intending to build up... I have a feeling this is not actually the case, but am not sure what ir could be...
The info :
It's an older frame, 58 branded into the BB, but measures 57 ctc both top and seat tubes.
The paint is grey (much has been repainted/touched up) chromed lugs.
It has the old style columbus tube decal at the top of the seat tube, no other decals. No holes for mounting a headbadge...
Plain and clean lugs on the frame w/ 3 hole cut outs on most. The fork crown is slightly sloping and has a cut out on the side that is a straight line though in the center a larger hole has also been cut out, this is outlined in blue paint.
Campagnolo drop out's...
On the downtube there are watercage mounts and on top of the BB are brazed cable guides...
And lastly the seatstays are fastbacks and on the left side of the seat cluster is the serial number of 6084.
Unfortunatly I can't host the pictures anywhere to attach... but I can e-mail them if necessary...
Thanks.
