Most housing is either 4mm or 5 mm. I know some older Shimano brake housing was 6mm if I remember correctly. THis stuff may be too big for your housing. Plus it appears to be plastic and I've never been a big fan of plastic housing ferrules. And those o-rings always seem to create more cable drag and keep gunk in instead of out. I'd get the standard metal ferrules in 5mm w/ the "reinforced" for shifting. Just my 2 cents. Like these... http://www.bikemannetwork.com/biking...HOUSEND/BR4087
