From what I read it seems you cannot just push out the bad pin and insert a new one. The instructions say always break the chain at one of the regular links not the reinforced one. I assume this means that once you push it completely through the hole is now too large to seat another reinforced pin correctly.

Options seem to be ride it and watch it closely for a few rides or push it out and go with a connex link. I guess I'll decide based on the input I get here.
