My girlfriend made me nervous when she said she thought she might want straight bars and bar ends for touring because she saw it on so many bikes on the websites she was looking at as we got ready for our big trip to europe. I put a hi-rise stem on it so the top of the bars are about an inch above saddle height. She absolutely loves the new set-up and of course she loves her suntour ratcheting barcons.
