Yesterday in preparation for the fm24/07 race I rode half of the distance I am planning on riding in the fm24/07 race.

EDIT: Sorry I really didn't mean to derail the discussion RE the logistics of getting here from there, I'm looking forward to possibly meeting ya'll.
