the front derailer is a simplex and i know that came with the bike, the rear simplex had something break (can't remember what) and the bike shop changed it to a shimano RSX. this happened years ago before i knew i should have saved the old ! you are probably right on the levers as the current ones are diacompe and i can't recall if or when i had them changed.what brake levers came on this bike? thanks for the replies-gotta love these forums for info
