I tried an Arione for a 1 mile test ride and cut it short to try another saddle. The Aliante was somewhat better, but not good enough. Tried a couple of WTB saddles also with unhappy results. I tried an Aspide SE and had no numbness after 50+ miles, but it was too hard on my sit bones. I currently have a Terry Fly on the bike, but have had to tilt the nose down too much to avoid numbness, which means I'm now putting too much weight on my arms. I have a Aspide Gelaround coming in the mail this week - maybe that'll be the ticket.
It's really hard finding the right saddle. You want to give it and your butt some time to adjust/conform, but sometimes you just feel that something uncomfortable after 15 miles won't be more comfortable with time.
I'd be interested to know what you think of the Adamo. I expect you'll hear from the Brooks people, too.
