Camera in Cell phones: In the event you get in an accident, it is good to have both a cell phone to call the police, and a camera to take photos for insurance purposes. Combining the two is a reasonable thing to do.

The CD Player in the car is a little bit more superfluous, but still has reasonable functionality. You certainly don't need it but it provides a little bit of enjoyment from something like driving, which I hate with a passion. At least you get to listen to music you chose while doing the deed instead of some market driven BS pop-punk/R&B
