I have tan Cinelli cork tape on my Bridgestone 400 and was wondering about adding shellac to it. If you shellac cork tape like Rivendell says you can do to get that leather look does it make the cork tape rock hard or leave it soft. Has anyone tried any kind of suede die on cork to see what it looks like. I want to get a darker look to match the saddle and I like cork bar tape.
