the other day i had finally got some proper clips and straps for my pedals on my fixie. that night i had a dream that i could skip and skid, it was like i was riding my bike in my dream, except with no brakes. the next day (yesterday), i was out messering, and when i went to stop at a drop, i skidded, without even thinking about it. it was the coolest thing ever, considering the whole skip/skid thing has been eluding me for a while now. maybe it was just because it was raining all day, and everything was wet, but it seemed like it came so easily. not to mention, once i got it down, it helped so much with riding in the rain, because the front brakes were shot to ****, once they got wet, i might as well have not even had them on.
