Yup, my King headset conforms to strict machining standards, unlike your mom, who I've heard is a sloppy press-fit.

Now go take a micrometer to a CK headset--you won't find tolerances worse than .002. And I still think it feels better than most components, and I still don't know much about machining (cue triumphant guitar solo for winning petty internet pissing match).
