That's awesome. I wish I knew more people like him

Well, I found my cause of my creaking king. The star fangled nut was all of about 4 mm from being level with the top of the steerer tube. Modified a Profile Racing headlock so it would work with the fox and put it on and rode the fisher hard today and no creaking at all.

Yup, my King headset conforms to strict machining standards, unlike your mom, who I've heard is a sloppy press-fit.

Check out this article: https://www.americanmachinist.com/304...se/24814/Issue

Now go take a micrometer to a CK headset--you won't find tolerances worse than .002. And I still think it feels better than most components, and I still don't know much about machining (cue triumphant guitar solo for winning petty internet pissing match).

It means they don't let people like you work the CNC.

How classy.

Thanks. And I forgot to add that your mom and my CK headset do share one critical feature- a short skirt for easy insertion.

How do you know?

Because I've like, taken a micrometer to a Chris King headset, man.

So your King headset "feels" better than most other components. What components have you compared it to and what exactly do you mean by "feels better"? How do you quantify the difference?
I'm not even listening to your criticisms until you at least triple the number of quotation marks you use.

The words inside the quotation marks are just some of the idiotic things that you've posted here. The quotation marks are there so that simpletons (folks like you) don't confuse your idiocy with my non-idiotic questions.

So, in summary:

It's quite clear that you don't know jack about King's tolerances and are just a goofy King fanboi.
Ah, I think I "understand" how to make really "compelling arguments." I would love to continue this "thread," but I have to go make love to my life-size woman I've constructed out of hundreds of Chris King headsets!

You should have left that up smashy, would have been comical at best. This child deserves a sit in the corner and a good beating. I can't believe people like this jackass still exist.

and btw, it wasn't a reference to a show at all, I don't even know what you are talking about, sorry you watch ****ty tv. It was simply a reference to you ability to debate...right up the with there with Astro Jetson...now that WAS a reference to a crappy tv show (or at least one that is dated, probably to witty a reference for your momma referring 12 year old mind)

The only advantage will be for those that want to mount a triple crown fork, like a Fox 40...they'll need a deep seated headset to handle these
