wish I had the ability to choose where i lived based on my cycling!....anyway, agree with '531', melbourne is the cycling mecca of Aus...If you can cope with winter. I live out toward the Macedon ranges....god designed this area with cyclists in mind. Plenty of hills, plenty of undulating stuff, a nice mix of flats etc...not much traffic & a zillion different training routes....I'm blessed........just wish it was a little warmer in winter!,
