Here in Parker it is overcast, cold light rain and 38F. No snow yet this year.

Some mountain snow - and several ski areas have opened up with artificial snow.

Here is the current forecast for Copper Mountain ski area:

Today: Occasional snow. High near 38. North northwest wind between 8 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.

Tonight: Snow showers likely, mainly before midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 20. North northwest wind between 7 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Monday: A 20 percent chance of snow before 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 41. West northwest wind around 9 mph.
