No snow here - but the cycling gang here are all enthusiastic because the temperature is now down below 100 degrees F when we kick off for a morning weekend ride at 6.30 am. Tomorrow (weekend here is Friday and Saturday) we're all off for a metric century.

But - last weekend my stoker bride and I went skiing in Dubai in a big cold slanting shed. Not in anyway ecological or responsible - but Blimey, it was fun
