Here's the bike I just built in time for winter!

Nexus 8R25 (Red Line) on a Surly 1x1 with Alfine shifter! I'm telling you it's a dream to ride on!

I still have some adjustments to do on the dash and my 18T sprocket hasn't arrived yet (not it's a 21T).

The owner of the bike shop even said that they'll be ordering Nexus 8 equipped bikes since he's so amazed!

The pictures don't totally do justice to the amazing green of the frame, I did my best with the lighting nature gave me on this overcast day.



The Alfine shifter is amazing.

I'm amazed that it makes no noise, except when free-wheeling. It's awesome compared to the noisy Nexus 3 that's on my father's bike.
