A correctly set up hub won't strip. Sounds like a solution in search of a problem, and strictly a fashion item.
Even if it never slips.. it is still not the best design and the potential for slippage will always be there. Is it worth taking the risk of 'not' getting a LeVeL design hub, and putting your trust and potentially your life - in a few shallow, flimsy threads? ..I put it to you thusly.
