100000x times better.if you ran 20ah+ of lithium, you'll find your range goes up a lot and the decrease in weight will help a lot as well (you could also get 48v packs giving you even more speed!).
Well lithium is still not at a good cost/benefit ratio i think.150$ taxes in for an 18 ah 36v pack seemed a bit more reasonable,So SLA's will have to do for now..
And speed isn't an issue,i'd like to lose 10 km/h and extend the range.I'll be putting this motor in a 20" front wheel of a Giant Stiletto in the spring hopefully bringing it closer to it's peak efficiency speed.
