About the wool socks, I managed to score 4 pairs of Wool hiking-style socks from COSTCO (the one in Southcenter/Tukwila) for just $9.99 plus tax. That's the price BIG 5 charges for 2 pairs of Cotton hiking-style socks. Last time I was at COSTCO, they still had tons of sock packs leftover to buy.
I rarely ever have to use more than 2 pairs for a whole month, since they don't stink. I just wash 'em when they start looking dirty.
I wonder if any other WA staters found 'em yet? They're very comfy, especially when I pair the wool socks with my Chucks
