There's also a brand called Reluctant that makes that exactly same half-link chain, as pictured above. I can confirm that it looks good (ahem! yeah, I have in on my Raleigh-conversion) and it is supposed to be super-strong too. I bought it from some Ebay-seller.

However, when still new it seems to stretch quite a bit. I actually had to cut two more links off after riding with it for couple of weeks. But probably the larger number of chain links causes proportionally more stretching of a new chain, I guess. And it's not noisy at all, at least on my set-up.
