if i were in your shoes, i'd rather get a bowery and have 3-400 in pocket to fix it up. you could easily blow that on a carbon fork, new brooks, and stratos bars... maybe some mx-1's and toshi's but... well... i'd still rather have the bowery and money in pocket than spend the kind of money you're talking about on a leader and have to cheap out on a lot of components.
