Falling is no fun
I was going to work in the 80's in PA and was getting angry at a car going soooo
slow in front of me...weaving behind him and making all kinds of angry puss's
to display my lack of patience.....When the first stop sign came I went around him
on the left to make a
right..BAM ! Down I went ! The whole road was a thin
sheet of ice
That humbling lesson sticks with me to this day...I know that
driver was laffing hard and glad I got what I deserved !
Also...I dont know exactly what the area of Jersey is like where you commute, but a
big problem in a lot of winterous areas I have lived is people getting their oils tanks
filled and the truck leaving a huge puddle on the street. I think oil is slipperier than
ice if thats possible !
I have to disagree with you, falling is indeed fun, unless you get hurt then its no fun, but when I fall and the only thing that gets hurt is my pride its a real laugh!
