A nice 'intro to commuting' article

Hits some of the big points:

Biking on the Cheap

"I bought it instead of a buying a new car. Now I ride about 2/3 of the miles I travel. At this rate I think my old car will last about 15 years. This change is saving me about $8,000 dollars a year."
"If you are thinking about using less gas or shrinking your carbon footprint, you should seriously consider going bike. It’s also a healthy choice and a lot of fun. And it doesn’t have to be expensive. This winter check out garage sales, pawn shops or even ebay for cheap bicycles during the colder months."
