This is the new bike I was telling you guys about. It's a 1985 Centurion Lemans RS. Serial # N5N5418.

I was worried that the old 6 speed 126mm rear hub that it came with will be hard to replace since it's pretty beat up. Anyway, I was able to muscle a replacement hub with 130mm in there. Of course I had my younger sister to help me.

In my previous posts, I was contemplating about getting a 126mm rear hub [old Dura ace or Phil Wood] but that is mooted now because I [really my sister] was able to get the 130mm rear hub in there.

The rear shifting is pretty bad now but that can be cured with a new dérailleur and shifter I think. I mean if I really want the 9+ speed. I'm too old school and I rather like the 6 or 7 speed.

anyway, I got a chance to ride her a bit earlier and it was pretty awesome. Just like how I remember it back in 1985....yea
