I've seen several spray-painted aerospokes that look fine.
One thing to consider, though, is the surface of the material... I seem to recall that you're not supposed to sand the surface of an aerospoke, lest you damage the material's structural integrity. In that case, it might be tough to get the paint to stick for any length of time.
But I really have no idea or experience, that's just pure speculation.
