In the winter I can slap on the windscreen and stay much warmer than without. I've got a rear rack, panniers and a windscreen so in terms of weather protection and load hauling I'm set. Ok I can't jump over curbs but I haven't had to do that in a long while. I store mine in the office which is a pain to maneuver it around but you can't have everything!
