Neal,
I actually got a chance to ride one of those briefly at the ABCE Tour year before last. Definitely felt much nicer than standard sports. It was loaned to me to ride in the tour itself but due to a miscommunication it was a 21" model and had a very short seat post, so I was unable to ride it the full distance. I have one old lightweight frame I have considered building up as as pseudo Sports Tourist, but it is very far down the list.
