Hmmmm...that still sounds a bit dodgey to me. I reckon the bike is supposed to be $4,500 with Ksyriums!!

It's disappointing that they wouldn't change the wheels, and I don't really know why -- it only takes about 5 or 10 mins to swap over the cassette and tyres. I'd be asking for any cheaper, "basic" wheels, such as Open Pros with Ultegra hubs, or any basic 32 spoked wheels that I'm sure that they'd have sitting around. They could easily sell the 540s separately. If you are heavy, you could say, "look, mate, I'm a bit of a slob; I might bust those wheels."

Claim they have to charge a bit extra because of lower levels of stock sold and higher transport charges etc. The one in Bathurst is even worse than most in being unwilling to haggle on price, prefering to use the excuse they'll give you 5% off purchasing of other gear and serivicing once you've got your bike as an incentive. Not much of an incentive if you ask me.
What about "Lithy", Katoomba or Orange? Any stuff there?
I know after sales servicing could be a problem, but I'd be "gassing" up the HZ for the drive to Sydney to get a great deal with you and your mates.
