I have a follow up question:

I have the Park HCW-5 (i think thats the number)
and I can't get my lock ring off, I can only chip off a piece of it accidentally.

What am I doing wrong?
Also how do I get the cog off and do I need to grease/lube anything on there?
I am trying to put a different size cog on my fixed gear.
