Yeah, so I was somewhat considering getting a Langster, but they were impossible to find. Now that they are starting to be available again, the price is jacked up more than 25%! No way would I pay $600 for an aluminum bike with a converted road crank and crap bottom bracket, and heavy wheels! Why is it that you can buy a new aluminum road bike with complete Shimano Sora gruppo for $200 less than this bike? $400-450 yes, $600 not a chance in hell.

If you're going to spend $600 on a track bike, get a KHS flite 100. It has Sugino 75 cranks, which are great. It's a durable steel frameset with true track geometry, and it has about the same quality wheels as the Lamester.
