Where do you get this information? Like Kemmer mentioned, it's likely French. Furthermore, "floating" an ISO sealed bracket, which has a narrower threading that French/Swiss, yields an unengaged bracket; plus, the thread pitch doesn't match. Re-tapping wider threading
down to ISO would be an interesting feat.
