Not really a lot of hills on my commute but I do tend to look for them. There's a nice 1 mile stretch near my house (not sure on how steep) that I try to do regularly. Basically I'm looking to really get into road biking and while the primary use of the bike is the 6 mile each way commute, the long term goal is to put a ton of miles for personal use.

I'm relatively light at 153 lbs. but am hoping to lose about 10-15 more. I'm a short guy at 5'7 and since I've lost about 25 lbs over the past six months I fugure I should set my goals high.
Campy stuff does really break in to be almost ridiculously smooth...that said, I have Old school ultegra on another bike and you can't say much bad about it either...there's just something sexy to some folks about Campy...
