I've liked crocheted back leather fingerless gloves for a while. The last pair lasted for years. When I went to get another new pair only a Retro-type shop east of San Francisco had them in XXXL for $25.00
They lasted about 3 weeks before the leather at the base of my palms shredded. Yick. Spandex gloves get filthy too quickly. I have several pairs of leather work gloves and will try cutting the fingers off of a pair. My hands are used to cycling and I do not need extra padding.
