Got to Dots. It's at SE 26th and SE Clinton. Great food, funky atmosphere. (not even a half mile from my house
) But yes, Hawthorne/Belmont are great. If he likes coffee, any place that has Stumptown coffee is good. There's one on Belmont in the 20s and one on Division in the 40s.
