yeah some people don't want to talk to high pressure sales flunkies that are going to get way more commission from a loaded road bike then a stripped down road bike or a track bike. They also find you guys to be a wealth of information on the subject of single speeds and fixed gears and sadly the hipster style that goes along with them currently.

They are also a lot of people that are too lazy to search.
